HyPneu’s Standard and Specialized Modules

For most users, the HyPneu SM package is sufficient to meet their application needs. However, we have available several options for the more sophisticated simulation user.  These can be purchased with the HyPneu SM software or at any time.

HyPneu PA (Process Animator)

HyPneu PA animates the processes happening in the hydraulic or pneumatic system including directional control valve position, cylinder and motor actuation, and line pressure. User can use the provided animation composer or can use HyPneu simulation data to control the animation.

HyPneu Thermal Simulator

  • Obtain transient temperature characteristics of components and circuit nodes directly from your schematic drawing.
  • Pinpoint potential thermal trouble spots in your system before major investments in material and time are spent.
  • Analyze the thermal integrity of your system and account for environmental demands.

HyPneu Elite

Adding HyPneu Elite to your purchase would allow you to use internal dynamics and/or detailed configuration of a component during a simulation. 

HyPneu Linx

Seamlessly integrates HyPneu with MatLab/Simulink to perform multi-domain simulation with other computer-aided engineering (CAE) software that is compatible with Simulink.

HyPneu Frequency Analyzer

  • Analyze control stability and vibration characteristics using HyPneu’s optional integrated frequency analyzer.
  • Easily toggle between time domain and frequency domain to obtain the needed output, such as Bode plot and Power Spectral Density (PSD) diagram.

HyPneu Magi

Easily perform hydraulic and pneumatic design calculations and produce fast and accurate performance assessment.  Visualize complex operations through component animation and a versatile graphical data presentation.  Instantly perform unit conversions and access a comprehensive fluid property database.

Contamination Simulator

Incorporate contamination parameters, from fluid cleanliness levels to intrinsic component performance degradation rates due to contamination, into your simulation with HyPneu’s Contamination Simulator.

  • A more realistic system can be created and simulated from design inception by incorporating how each component will respond to contamination. 
  • A system can be better maintained and remain operational for a greater percentage of its lifetime by knowing the threshold of contamination a system can contain as a whole.
  • The design engineer is able to more accurately determine the operational lifetime of a given system under various conditions.   

Contamination Simulator is based on the Omega Theory which provides a mathematical model where contaminant sensitivity coefficients are used to construct the contaminant tolerance (Omega Life) profile and calculate the service life of the various components of a system. 

Client-Server Module

  • Allows direct link to user developed and/or other 3rd party programs (such as Adams, RecurDyne, etc.) with an appropriate hand-shaking module coded per HyPneu protocol.
  • Allows co-simulation with software-to-software, software in parallel with hardware, and hardware in the loop configurations.

Fuel Delivery and Vapor Management

Use specialized fuel delivery system models to create a computerized analysis of the dynamic performance of a fuel delivery system.

Environmental Control/AC System

Realistically simulate the operation of an Environmental Control System (ECS) which is commonly used in cooling, heating, ventilating, or disinfecting the condition of air.
